A man has been arrested in Anguwar Doya in Kirfi local government area of Bauchi state, for allegedly raping his three year old daughter. The state police spokesperson, Ahmed Wakil in a release on Saturday January 15, said the arrested was affected on 9th January, 2022, following a report made by the victim mother at Kirfi Divisional Police Headquarters. A lecturer at Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Port Harcourt has been suspended over the alleged sexual harassment of a female student. Punch had reported that the lecturer identified as Tamunotonye Solomon who has been handed a suspension for three month, exchange words in the media with the 200-level student, Blessing Audu, over the sexual harassment allegation. While Ms Audu claimed the lecturer accused her for stealing his N250,000 after she denied his marriage proposal, the lecturer said the allegations was a blackmail and that he arrested the student because she stole his money and some office property. Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a bride, Farmat of Paul, scarcely hours to her wedding in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.
