The Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security Defense Corps, NSCDC, has arrested one Adeyemo Mufutau, 26, for professing to be a herbalist have spiritual solutions for the problem of his unsuspecting victims. A man has been arrested in Anguwar Doya in Kirfi local government area of Bauchi state, for allegedly raping his three year old daughter. The state police spokesperson, Ahmed Wakil in a release on Saturday January 15, said the arrested was affected on 9th January, 2022, following a report made by the victim mother at Kirfi Divisional Police Headquarters. Doctors at General Hospital Kirfi where the minor was taken for medical attention, also confirm that she's been defiled. The will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation. A lecturer at Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Port Harcourt has been suspended over the alleged sexual harassment of a female student. Punch had reported that the lecturer identified as Tamunotonye Solomon who has been handed a suspension for three month, exchange words in the media with the 200-level student, Blessing Audu, over the sexual harassment allegation. While Ms Audu claimed the lecturer accused her for stealing his N250,000 after she denied his marriage proposal, the lecturer said the allegations was a blackmail and that he arrested the student because she stole his money and some office property. The school's Registrar, Chris Woke who has now disassociated the school from the alleged conduct of its lecturer, said they've set up a board of committee to investigate the allegations against the lecturer. Twenty one illegal miners, including a community leader, and three Chinese nationals have been arrested for illegal mining in Azam village, near Nasarawa, says the Federal Capital Territory Police command. Tansian universiersity, Umunya, Anambra in partnership with Chartered Institute of Educational Practitioners, U.K., CIEPUK, has granted full scholarship to 5,000 repented commercial sex workers and vulnerable people. Prof. Marcel Ezenwoye, the National President, CIEPUK, made this known to newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday. Mr Ezenwoye said that the beneficiaries were drawn from the 36 state of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
