JUST IN: IPOB Declares Sit-at-home October 1, Orders Removal Of Nigerian Flags
The Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, has proclaimed first October, 2021 as another sit-at-home dissent which is the day of Nigeria's freedom festivity.
One of the IPOB chiefs, Chika Edoziem, expressed this on Friday during a radio station.
Edoziem noticed that the rebel gathering would secure the whole South-East district on October 1, while approaching its individuals to eliminate all Nigerian banners mounted in "Biafra land."
He said, "The first of October pronounced complete closure in Biafra land. There will be no development in Biafra land on first of October being Nigerian Independence day. Again from this evening, all Nigerian banners mounted anyplace in Biafra land should be cut down; banks excluded.
"IPOB administration will convey to banks straightforwardly and give them motivation behind why they should serene cut down the banner. Else, we do it without anyone else's help in our own specific manner."
The head of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has been in the detainment of the Department of Security Services since the third seven day stretch of June following his capture in Kenya and bringing home to Nigeria
