BREAKING NEWS: Taraba monarch, Aku Uka Is Dead

His Royal Majesty, Dr. Shekarau Angyu Masa-Ibi CFR (Kuvyon II), the Aku Uka of Wukari is dead. The ruler kicked the bucket at 84. 

It was reports that his demised came not upto 7days after the demise of senator Abdulazeez A. Ibrahim of Taraba central zone. 

The information on his demised was contained in a public statement endorsed by Jolly Agbu Masa-IBI, SA Media to Aku-Uka. 

As indicated by the delivery, all conventional rituals as per the Jukun custom have since started. 

The last conventional ceremonies for Aku Uka's progress from the Royal residence to Puje would be declared at the appointed time. 

Masa-Ibi was crown the Kuvyon II at Byepi, in 1976 as the 27th ruler of Kwararafa and the 13th from the establishing of the Wukari federation. 

The 40th commemoration of his command to the lofty position was set apart on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th March 2017, at the Kwararafa University permanent site, Wukari. 

Kevin II (Shekarau Angyu Masa-Ibi) is the 27th and Officeholder Aku Uka (vital leader) of Kwararafa and 13th since the establishing of the Wukari League, a Jukun conventional state in the Center Belt, Nigeria. He succeeded Ada Ali Agbumanu V. 

Prior to his demise, he was the chairman, Taraba State Committee of Customary Rulers, and Chancellor, federal University Dutse.
