FG Declares Next Tuesday Public Holiday for Eid-ul-Mawlid Celebration
The federal government has proclaimed Tuesday October 19th, 2021 as public holiday to mark this year's Eid-ul-Mawlid Festivity in celebration of the commemoration of the birth of the holy Prophet Muhammad.
The minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who made this affirmation on behave of the Federal government, congratulate all Muslim dedicated both at home and in the Diaspora for seeing the current year's event.
He reproved all Nigerians to assimilate the spirit of love, patience and constancy which are the ideals of the Blessed Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), adding that doing as such would ensure peace and security in the country.
Aregbesola urged Nigerians, especially Muslims, to forgo violence, rebellion and different demonstrations of guiltiness. As the unquestionable leader of our race, we should show mindful administration in Africa.
While requiring a stop to all troublesome inclinations the nation over, the minister asked all Nigerians and the youth specifically, to accept the ideals of hard work and quiet attitude to individual people I respective of faith, ideology, social class and Ethnicity and cooperate with President Muhammadu Buhari's led-adminstration in its work to construct a reformist and fortunate country that all residents would be glad for.
