JUSTIN: Gov. Darius Ishaku Mourns Taraba Council Of Chiefs Chairman, The Aku Uka of Wukari
Governor of Taraba State, Darius Dickson Ishaku, has communicated shock and misery over the death of His Royal Majesty, Dr Shekarau Angyu Masa-Ibi, Aku Uka of Wukari, who is also the chairman of the Taraba State Council of Chiefs.
In a statement on Sunday, Governor Ishaku portrayed the late Aku Uka as a premier principal ruler whose rule brought harmony, solidarity and flourishing to Wukari, and the whole antiquated Kwararafa Kingdom.
He portrayed his rule as a time of self-revelation for the Jukun individuals of their essential spot in history just as their job in the advancement of current civilisation in Nigeria and then some.
Speaking further, he noticed that the conventional ruler had an uncommon feeling of history, adding that his downfall has denied Taraba State and Nigeria of the advantages of his wise counsel.
Governor Ishaku pray to God for the rest of his spirit.
Masa-Ibi passed on late on Saturday night in his home after a concise sickness at 84 years old.
The deceased was the 27th Aku-Uka of the Kwararafa Empire and 13th since the establishing of the Wukari league, a Jukun conventional state in Middle Belt Nigeria.
