State Congress: Ugo Agballah Emerges Enugu APC Chairman 

As the All Progressives Congress (APC) holds its state congresses Nation-wide the Enugu State chapter was not abandoned as party steadfast from the different wards and local government area of the state marched to the congress venue to choose party officials who will steer the affairs of the party at the state level for another four years. 

As early as 8am local government delegates started showing up the setting of the congress and filed to their different assigned focuses appropriately.

 However, the congress didn't begin till 12pm on Saturday with the arrival of the state congress commetee led by its chairman, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu. 

The party recorded a close to 100 percent consensus arrangement every one of the positions save  putting  aside for that of the state chairman, which was distinctly challenged between Chief Ugo Agballah and General JOJ Okoloagu, with Agballah defeating his opponent for the top position.
